Yes, I'm a little early posting my tutorial this time:) I just wanted to pass on a little tip I've discovered using my Cricut. I used the original "George" cartridge, but you could use any. Step 1: Cut three different shaped flowers using a Cricut. (Mine are 1 1/2, 2, and 2 1/2 inches) Step 2: Ink the edges. (This step is optional. I just like the look.) Step 3: Also ink the backside so that the end result is more 3-D. Step 4: Simply roll and wrinkle the edges with your fingers. They can be as wrinkled as you want. Go all the way to the base of the flower. Do this to all three sizes. Step 5: Use glue dots on the backside of the two smallest sizes Step 6: Then you layer the two smallest flowers onto the largest flower. Step 7: When you are done layering, choose a jewel or ribbon or whatever you want and adhere it to the center. That's all there is to it! Beautiful layered flowers made from that "perfect" coordinating paper:) Attachments:
