My favorite thing about stamping is that I can make my own embellishments with them and use them over and over again changing the color to suit my project. It is simple to stamp, cut out the image and use a pop dot for dimension. Voila a perfect embellishment. On this page, I stamped the heart and the cute circles near the bottom and then pop dotted them. When buying stamps, it is an investment, so I always try to think of MANY ways I can use the stamp. Like this heart stamp, I have used it on Valentine's pages or cards, love pages about my hubby and I, puppy love pages about my dogs, how much I love my kids and even anything to do with love, like this page, I love the things my daughter says:-) So break out the stamps and make some embellishments for your projects!! Jamie, this is wonderful! I never would have thought to use my stamps to create my own embellies! And I have SO many stamps that would work perfectly for this too! Thanks for the inspiration, I need to challenge myself to pull out these stamps and get to it, huh?!
