Today I am going to show you how to get more out of your stamps with a technique called "Stamp Kissing". This technique works great with a solid stamp image. So the supplies you would need are a stamp with a solid image, a stamp with a pattern and some ink as I have shown in image 1 in my example below. The first step is to ink up your solid image (mine is a heart) with your ink (image 2). Next, you will take your inked solid image and "stamp" it into your patterned stamp (image 3). Basically that step takes the ink away in a fun pattern. So the last step is to go ahead and stamp on paper now (image 4). Now I have a pattern on my heart, which would have otherwise been a solid blue. Image 5 shows the card I made with this heart. Stamp Kissing is a super fun way to get more out of your stamps and to make unique images! I hope you try it!! Attachments:

I love this technique. I stumbled across a video on it the other day and watched it. I just don't have the solid background stamps to use. I think have a one and it's a diamond shape but that's it. I need to look specifically for those types of stamps next time I have some money. I've bought several things lately and now need to save up some money before I buy again.
